The Siege of Miletus was a naval siege directed by Alexander the Great's against the inhabitants of Miletus, a city in southern Ionia, in Caria, held by the Persian Empire. Miletus is now located in the Anatolia province of modern-day Turkey. It was captured by Parmenion's son, Nicanor in 334 BC.
