(1946- ) Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone is an U.S. actor, filmmaker, screenwriter and film director famous for his characters the boxer Rocky and the soldier Rambo and for his machism.

The lower left side of Stallone face is paralysed due to some complications that his mother suffered during his birth which forced her obstetricians to use two pairs of forceps during his birth. The misuse of these accidentally severed a nerve and caused paralysis in parts of his face.

Stallone had his first starring role in the soft core pornography feature film The Party at Kitty and Stud's in 1970. In the same year he appeared in the film Rebel as the movie star, but it was not very popular. It was not until 1976 that he success with the film Rocky, which script was wrote by himself. On the other hand, Stallone made his directorial debut directing Paradise Alley in 1978. In 1982 he played Rambo, which was another complete success. Apart from continue doing films of action, he also tried other genres but it didn't work.

Stallone has been married three times and he has 5 children.
