The Anarchist Cookbook
A 1971 book written by William Powell to protest the Vietnam War. It offers instructions for how to create rudimentary explosives and interfere with communication systems. Much of the information contained within it is now outdated or never worked even at the time of publication. Even so, possession of the book has been used to implicate people in crimes and link them to terrorist activity.
Mr. Powell has since tried to stop circulation of the book, stating that it was the reckless musings of his young mind and holds no value to anyone. As he sold the copyright to his publisher he was unable to stop it from being printed, and still gets circulated as a curio amongst collectors.
