A political system, generally Fascist, Socialist, and/or Communist, that recognises no limits on it's power and authority. Generally a Dictatorship that controls the media, the economy and takes over private enterprise. Propaganda and collectivism replace human and individual rights. Government sponsored terrorism puts an end to freedom. Probably the most successful type of Totalitarianism, was the Marxism-Leninism of the Soviet Union, which defeated the Fascists of Germany.
