Professional golfer Yani Tseng was born on January 23, 1989 in Taiwan. She holds the record for being the youngest player to have won five major championships (including 2002 Callaway Junior World Golf Championships, 2004 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links, 2005 North and South Women's Amateur Golf Championship, and the 2011 ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open).

She is currently the top-ranked player in the Women's World Golf Ranking. In 2010 and 2011, she was recognised as the LPGA Player of the Year.
