A non-technical term which describes an organism whose performances are occurring at a low frequency because the number of performances required for reinforcement is too high. It is defined as the state of an organism in which there is a loss of will power; there is an inability to act or to make decisions. The term usually refers to a performance which occurs at a low rate as a result of its schedule of reinforcement.
