Action control

A mode in which flash, exposure compensation, and macro close-up settings and operating mode (user settings, playback, movie, scene auto selection, auto, landscape, underwater, beach/snow) can be selected by moving the camera up and down or forward and back. The user selects this mode by pressing the action control button until the icons for the foregoing items are displayed in the monitor. Icons are selected by moving the camera up and down to scroll forward or forward and back to scroll back and pressing the action control button to make a selection. If additional options are available for the selected item, the user can then select an option from a submenu by moving the camera and pressing the action control button. To select another icon, the user keeps the action control button pressed.
