The deterioration of the quality of air (as naturally occuring) that results from the addition of various substances and energy forms. Associated with altered states and impacts (physical, chemical, biological, and psychological) which are determined to be undesirable by human value judgments. Air pollution can occur in indoor locations as well as in outdoor (ambient) atmosphere.
