1) The negotiated goals and procedures of a behaviour analysis program, mutually agreed on by the client or advocate and other involved persons, and modifiable by joint agreement. Also called a contingency contract.

2) A behavioural plan of action that is negotiated between a client, child, spouse, etc. and concerned others. This plan usually includes a statement of target responses, consequences that follow different actions, and long-term goals. The contract objectively specifies what is expected of the person and the consequences that follow behavior.
