Belt tension
The result of force applied to the conveyor belt that causes or tends to cause stress or stretching of the belt. All belt must be tensioned to some extent to provide proper driving force and tracking. Belt tension is also created in the operating conveyor as the result of pulling the product along the conveyor bed.
