Black ibis
A memeber in the family of ibises and spoonbills (Threskiornithidae), the black ibis, Ibis papillosus, inhabits India, Burma, Siam and Cambodia. It is brown with an olive-green gloss above and a white shoulder patch and measures about 28 inches. The head and throat are bare, and the crown and nape are covered with red scaly warts.
