Chod

Tibetan meditational practice, said to have been introduced by the 12th-century woman teacher machik labdron. It involves visualising one's body being cut up, transformed and offered to deities and other beings (not necessarily demonic), and is a key practise for many Tibetan lay tantric practitioners. It is a sung practice, accompanied by a hand-drum and bell.
