Custard
A sweet mixture often used as a dessert that is ready with eggs, sugar, and milk or cream. It is creamy like a pudding, but it is still thicker. Custard is cooked by insertion the contents into a dish that is then placed into another large pan of hot water. The water must come up to about two-thirds the height of the custard dish. All of this is then placed in the oven to cook in the oven for about an hour. Variations of the essential custard recipe can be prepared with additional flavorings.
