Cyclostrophic wind

A theoretically hypothesised wind that would exist, when blowing around circular isobars, as a balance between the pressure gradient and the centrifugal force. The Coriolis force is neglected, and as such this is a useful approximation only in low latitudes, e.g. in tropical cyclones.
