Delphi method

A strategy for identifying the best examples of any particular class of items is to ask a panel of experts independently to suggest an optimal list. By pooling the items and sometimes repeatedly having each member independently rank order them, a select set rises clearly to the top. The Delphi method can be used to identify high-priority goals and objectives, lists of recommended readings, "key" examination items, and so on.
