Electro-pneumatic brake train line

Electrical connexion between all cars in a train to enable quicker braking. Activating the brakes leads to a depression in the brake pipe, which spreads from vehicle to vehicle, consequently braking one after the other. With the electro-pneumatic brake, the brakes are simultaneously triggered on each vehicle by means of an electrical impulse travelling through the train line.
