Fixed-interval schedule

A schedule of intermittent reinforcement in which the first response occurring after a given interval of time, measured from the preceding reinforcement, is reinforced. A given interval schedule is designated by adding a number to the letters Fl to indicate minutes. (E.g., FI 5 is a schedule in which the first response which occurs 5 minutes or more after the preceding reinforcement is reinforced.)
