Hydrotherapy is the technique of using water for healing and for relieving pain. Its origins as a medical tool are in the 19th century, although there are references to it much earlier, as the ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman civilizations use water as treatment for different issues. There are different hydrotherapy methods depending on the problem that each person suffers, and not all implies submerging in water.
