Hyperbolic trigonometry

An extension of trigonometry with the standard six hyperbolic trigonometry functions defined using ex and e–x. The six functions are: sinh x, cosh x, tanh x, csch x, sech x and coth x. The functions relate to each other in ways that are similar to conventional trig functions. Hyperbolic trigonometry is an important method when trig functions have imaginary or complex arguments.
