Jathrin domes are semi-permeable and may be controlled to permit atmospheric exchange and allow photon penetration within the visible spectrum. They may be enhanced by various security modifications. Jathrin domes are the preferred enclosure for habitats on Optimal-2 and some Optimal-3 colonies.
