Kewraw
A large hexaped of the chindi order, native to the watercourses of the Edges foothills and the northern Amber Peninsula. They are highly aggressive with one another during mating and nest-building seasons, but otherwise slow, placid, and unafraid of humans. Fairly uncommon, they fulfil a number of valuable niches in the riparian ecosystems of their range, and are generally protected from hunting, although the hide is considered useful for a number of applications. They reproduce very slowly, on a three-year cycle.
