Laser marking

Laser marking is the process of sending a laser beam to etch the surface of porous and non-porous substrate materials to provide contrast in clearly legible characters, graphics, and machine-readable symbols, such as one-and two-dimension bar code. Laser marking device dates back to the early 1980 's, marking and coding of foodstuffs and metals. Laser marking system is an Assembly of electrical, mechanical and optical components, which includes laser. There are a variety of methods to direct the laser beam on the material substrate to obtain the character. Mask, galvanometric scanning optic and acoustics are the most commonly used methods.
