It is Hungarian spiced, white cheese made from the mixture of sheep's and cow's milk. The cheese has its name according to sheep's milk called Liptoi. As Hungarians are great lovers of spicy food, Liptauer is very popular in the country as the taste is a mixture of onion, caraway seeds, capers, paprika and salt. It is used as the basis of numerous local dishes. This cheese is sold in the pots.
