Net
The net is made of a thick mesh, which can be seen through. The net is held in place by two posts that are called Single Sticks. A metal cable runs from the posts to the net. These cables keep the net taut. The posts are 3 feet (91 centimeters) outside the court. The top of the metal cable is 3 feet 6 inches (1.07 meters) above the ground. The net must be 3 feet or (91 centimeters) at the center. This means, of course, that the net is higher on the ends then in the center. A white strap runs across the top of the net to keep it taut.
