The presentation of three parallel linear or non-linear scales of related values aligned so that a straight line between desired points on two of the scales also crosses the third scale at the corresponding value, e.g. a line through points on scales for centrifuge rotor diameter (cm) and speed (rev./min) also passes through the scale for centrifugal force (g) at the correct point.
