The Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is a tree in the coffee family, Rubiaceae.

The fruit, also called Noni, is a multiple fruit that has a stinking smell when ripe. It is oval in shape, at first green, the fruit turns yellow then almost white as it ripens. It contains many seeds.

Despite its strong smell and bitter taste, the fruit is nevertheless eaten raw, cooked in curry or used in juice.

The juice of the Noni is supposed to have numerous medicinal properties.

The seeds are also edible when roasted.
