Partial-interval time-sampling
A time-sampling procedure whereby a response is recorded if it occurs at any time(s)-even momentarily-during the interval, and not necessarily throughout the interval, as in whole interval time-sampling. Sometimes it is called interval spoilage, because any instance of the behaviour (especially an unwanted behavior) "spoils" the interval.
