The playing area should be approx. 46 feet (14 meters) long and approx. 23 (7 meters) wide, with the table in the centre of this area. There should be panels around the edge of the playing area and these should be approx. 30 inches (75 centimeters) high. These are to prevent a ball from going outside of the playing area.
