Pseuderanthemum
Genus of about 60 species of evergreen perennials, subshrubs and shrubs from woodland habitats in tropical regions worldwide. Pseuderanthemum is grown for its brightly-coloured foliage, but its purple-eyed white flowers in late spring and summer are very attractive. The upright stems bear oval leaves. This plant needs for high humidity - it belongs in a concervatory or plant window rather than in the living room.
