Chilian apocynaceo-tree (Quebrach of the Aspidosperm); the bark is also used as an febrifug, and "dyspn oe, and lung, bronchial diseases; -also called the white quebrach to distinguish it from the Red quebrach to the Mexican anacardiaceo tree (Loxopterygi, Lorentzi) whose bark is said to have similar characteristics.
