Sannakji

Sannakji is a variety of hoe, or raw dish, in Korean cuisine. It consists of live nakji (octopus) that has been cut into small pieces and served immediately, usually seasoned with sesame and sesame oil. The pieces are usually served still squirming on the plate. Diners must take caution when eating this dish as the suction cups on the arms pieces are still active and can stick to the mouth or throat if not chewed thoroughly.
