Serval

Servals (Leptailurus serval or Caracal serval) are medium-sized cats that are natives of central and southern Africa. They have a spotted pelt like a cheetah and fan-like sharp ears. These ears also help servals sense vibrations. Serval were excessively hunted for their fur and many species have become extinct. Servals have a diet of hares, birds, reptiles, frogs, fish and insects. They can leap very well and catch a bird in flight.
