Bed sheets are pieces of cloth used to cover the mattress and the person when someone is sleeping. The sheet used to cover the mattress is called bottom sheet, and usually has its four corners fitted with elastic to avoid it from moving. The sheet used to cover the person is called top sheet, and above it we place the blankets and comforters.
