French cheese of round shape which is produced in Bourgogne. The cheese has a creamy pâte and is eaten young. Affinage of the cheese takes seven to eight weeks. The cheese is first washed in water or brine and then marc is added to the liquid. The cheese tastes delicious with wine and has a fat content of 45 per cent.
