Query that can be answered only in a specific way. Structured questions offer the respondent a set of responses from which to choose. They require closed-ended categories pre-selected by the researcher.

There are two primary advantages to structured questions:

1. They make data collection and analysis much simpler

2. They take less thinking and time to answer. This generally leads to higher response and more accurate data.
