Sub-selector

A selector used exclusively for focus-point selection.

The centre of this control functions as a replacement for the AE-L/AF-L button found in the D3s AE-L/AF-L button; in addition, this control can be pressed up, down, left, or right to select the focus point.

It is a size smaller than existing multi selectors and lacks raised arrow symbols (we visualise it as being something like the EOS1 DMkIII or IV multi controller).

When the camera is held in landscape orientation, ease-of-use for focus-point selection is superior to that offered by the multi selector.
