Archer's shoot at four different distances. Men shoot at distances of 295 feet (90 meters) and 229 feet (70 meters) and the target is approx. 48 inches (122 centimeters) wide. They also shoot at 164 feet (50 meters) and 98 feet (30 meters) at a target that is 31 inches (80 centimeters) wide. Women shoot at distances of 229 feet (70 meters) and 196 feet (60 meters) and the target is 48 inches (122 centimeters) wide.
