The professional and personal responsibility for teachers to ensure that adequate and effective environmental education is provided to their students through infusion/integration into their various subject matter and other means, e.g., field trips, school activities, etc. The responsibility of teachers that environmental education be an integral and important part of their total teaching activities for students in preparing them for life and careers, including the development of a concern and responsibility for the environment in every student.
