A wind farm is an outdoor power plant that converts wind power into electricity. Wind farms are usually found in flat, wide open, and scarcely populated fields where there is a constant breeze. The fields are usually set up with wind turbines, most often in the shape of windmills, that are placed in rows like an orchard, making the entire field look like a farm.
