American Dad! is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, which first aired in 2005 and will air its eighth season in 2012-13. The series centres on the home life of Stan Smith, a CIA agent and his family, made up of his wife, daughter, son, an escaped alien living in their home and an anthropomorphic goldfish, and their various misadventures.
