The Battle of Gabai was a battle between Alexanders General Coenus and the tribes of Sogdiana under command of Spitamenes in December 328 BC.
When Spitamenes lost the battle, Spitamenes' wife killed him and sent his head to Alexander, suing for peace and effectively dissolving Spitamenes' army.
