A line dance with called instructions. It is an updated version of the Electric Slide. Produced by Hudson Beaudy, Frederick L. Johnson, Ken Uchida, DJ Eric B, Men On Business. DJ Casper developed the Cha Cha Slide in 2000 for Bally Total Fitness; it became a hit with gym members. He then made another version of the "Cha Cha Slide (Part 2)", and by 2003 it was being played at urban venues and clubs in the Western United States.
