Chris Cleave

Chris Cleave is a British writer. His debut novel, Incendiary (2006) won the 2006 Somerset Maugham Award and shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize. His second novel (Little Bee in North America and The Other Hand in the UK) was published in 2008, shortlisted for the Costa Book Awards.

Cleave is also a journalist; from 2008 to 2010, he was a columnist for the newpaper, The Guardian, in London.
