Connect Cloud is a platform designed by Cisco that allows users to access their home network remotely via the Internet from a connected device such as an Android or Apple mobile phone. The system comes with a suite of apps from managing multiple routers on separate networks, to remotely controlling access to content on their home networks, and managing home appliances connected to a home network. The system also allows third parties to develop applications for the router, as well as offering a Wi-Fi interfacing standard so that supported home appliances can connect to and be managed via the home network.
