The international and Olympic governing body of competitive gymnastics. The FIG is recognised by the International Olympic Committee and is responsible for the governance of the sport of gymnastics on the international level. They draw up the rules, known as the Code of Points, which dictate how judges assess gymnasts and the manner in which all international competitions are run.
