The Golden Globe Awards are presented annually for motion pictures and television programmes worldwide for their outstanding achievements. Given out early each year with a formal ceremony and dinner by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the Golden Globe Awards are among the most publicised awards in the entertainment industry.
