Golden Goal
The Golden Goal is a method which was introduced in 1992 in soccer games to decide the winner of games in elimination matches which ended in a draw after normal play time. Golden goal rule allows the team that scores first during extra time to be declared the winner. The game finishes as soon as the golden goal is scored. The rule was abandoned in FIFA authorised games in 2004.
