Hakka
Hakka is one of the major Chinese dialects and is spoken by the Hakka people in Southern China and the island of Taiwan. Due to its original useage in scattered isolated areas, Hakka has developed numerous varients spoken across East Asia.
Hakka is not mutually intelligible with Mandarin, Wu, Min Nan or other branches of Chinese but is most closely related to the Gan language.
