Iker Casillas
) Iker Casillas is a Spanish goalkeeper who plays for e l Real Madrid and selecting Spanish (and is Captain of both). In 2008 he led the team to its first European Championship in 44 years, and in 2010 to win the World Cup. It received the award of best goalkeeper in the tournament.
Casillas is a product of the Real Madrid youth team. It was called for the first time with the first team in 1997, at the age of 16, but it was not until the 1998-1999 season when made his debut in the first division, replacing Bodo Illgner. The following season he relegated to Illgner in the dock being the holder. In 2000, younger in the final of the Champions League, became the goalkeeper just 4 days after her 19 birthday.
Since 2009, Casillas is coming out sports reporter Sara Carbonero, and in 2011 Casillas was appointed Ambassador of the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations programme.
