(1956 - ) Iñaki Perurena Gartziarena is a Spanish specialist in the Basque rural sports mode "harrijasoketa". He has also done something at cultural level as a poet, sculptor, actor and "bertsolari" (kind of improvisation telling poems). He is a member of the cultural association "Nabarralde" and has published articles in defence of the identity of Navarra as axis of Basque nationality. His son, Inaxio Perurena is also stone lifter.

As stone lifter or harrijasotzaile, he holds the record of 1,000 lifts of a stone of 100 kg continuously in 5 hours and 4 minutes (1999). In 1990, he broke a weight record by lifting a stone of 315 kg. He can lift three times, with one hand, a stone of 250 kg, and four times also with one hand, a stone of 200 kg.
